Her favorite genres are environmental nonfiction and fantasy.. but she's not picky! Right now, she is reading a nonfiction book called Mozart's Starling. It's about music, history, and the behavior and the perception of birds. With the right book, you can learn about ANYTHING! And, if your favorite book doesn't exist yet-- you can be the one to write it! Mrs.Mitani loves reading mysteries and psychological thrillers. She loves a book that makes her think she has it figured out and then totally shocked at the turn of events! Join Davis Reads 45 this summer! Students are challenged to read for 45 days, earning prizes every 5 days and a special end-of-summer event for those who complete the challenge. Pick up books during summer library hours. Families should check with their local elementary school for specific days and times. Regular summer reading helps prevent learning loss and supports continued academic growth. Contact your school or library to get started!

📚 NEW! Summer Reading Fun! ☀️ Join us this summer as our library opens every Tuesday from June 9 – August 11, 9:00–10:30 AM, hosted by Mrs. Mitani! We encourage all students to read at least 45 days this summer. Student Council 2026-2027

This week, Mrs. Mower's kindergarten students were recognized through songs, words, and actions that showcased all they have learned and achieved this year! 🎉📚💙 Our choir also gave their final performance of the year with a fun tribute to the love of baseball! Students proudly showcased their incredible singing talents and hard work. What a great way to celebrate the end of the school year! Play ball! ⚾🎶🐾

Yearbook signing and 6th grade graduation were the perfect way to celebrate a year full of growth, memories, achievements, and friendships! We are so proud of all our Clinton Cougars and the amazing journey they’ve had together this year. Congratulations to our 6th graders as they head off to new adventures! 🎓💙🐾

4th grade is awesome, and we LOVE our teachers- Mrs. Anderson, Ms. Lund, Ms. Saine and Mrs. Slater! Thank you for making learning fun, helping us grow, and cheering us on every day. Clinton Cougars are lucky to have such amazing teachers! 🐾💙

Field Day was a BIG hit! ☀️🎉 A huge thank you to our amazing PTA and family volunteers for all of your support. We truly could not have done it without you! From games and treats to laughter, teamwork, skill, and friendly competition, Clinton Cougars were all smiles today. What a fun way to round out the school year! 🐾

💙Last week celebrations continue! 🎉 We LOVE our 3rd grade teachers for going above and beyond to prepare their students for success as they head into 4th grade!Thank you, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Swanson and Mrs. Walk! 💙 Ms. Garcia’s class celebrated a fantastic year of learning and growth! Ms. Reese’s class took learning to new heights with a fun paper airplane activity ✈️ Mrs. Madrigal’s class showed off their creativity by decorating Ms. Gleed and Mrs. Follett in runway fashion—so much fun!

💙 High school graduates returned to Clinton for the annual Graduation Walk! 🎓 This special tradition celebrates how far our students have come and inspires our current Cougars to dream big. We are so proud of each and every one of you!
