We hope to see you at our Art Gala this coming week on March 4th, 4:30-6:00! This will include individual student art projects, PTA Art contest submissions and the PTA Sponsored Book Fair.
REMINDER: I know many of you may be wondering where your child’s coat, hat, gloves, backpack, or lunch box has gone when you may have just sent them to school with it a few hours earlier! Please be sure to label all items your child brings to school. This makes it much easier for us to return misplaced belongings to the right child. Thank you for your help!

Did you know?:
We love recognizing the amazing things our students do to follow our school expectations and show off our amazing Clinton Cougars! On Friday, March 6thduring our monthly school assembly, we will recognize one student from each class who goes above and beyond showing Kindness and Empathy. One student from each grade will be recognized and added to our Recess Hall of Fame. In addition, one student will be recognized who had 100% attendance during the month of February.
A question was brought to my attention about what we are doing as a school to increase the percentage of students who score at or above grade level according to the Acadience Reading Pathways of Progress. This is a great question! Our teachers follow a Master Schedule for whole-class instruction using a curriculum adopted two years ago. Teachers work hard to collect and analyze data for students who need additional instructional support. Teachers regularly participate in grade-level professional learning teams to support student growth, develop intervention strategies, and provide targeted small group and one-on-one instruction. Compared to this time last year, we have improved 12% in this measure and hope to see continued success.
