Principal’s Message 2021-2022

I am honored to introduce myself as the Clinton Elementary principal. My name is Julie Lundell and this is my 16th year in the Davis School District. I have been a teacher, language arts coordinator, and elementary school administrator. I am passionate about learning and helping students be successful.

After growing up in Arizona, work opportunities brought my husband and I to northern Davis County, where we raised our four sons. Along the way, I completed a master’s degree in Instructional Leadership at Utah State University.

This year our school theme is “Clinton Cougars Never Stop”. We will be promoting a growth mindset as students, never stop learning, growing, trying, working, or being kind. As a school we will be focusing on social emotional skills, including self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, responsible decision-making, and relationship skills.

Academically we want our students to have a solid foundation in reading, writing and math skills so that they can apply them to real world experiences in life. We want to meet student’s individual learning needs to help them grow from wherever they are at.

We look forward to a great year of academic and personal success for our students as we partner with parents to help our student grow.

Mrs. Lundell
