Principal’s Message 2022-2023

I am honored to introduce myself as the Clinton Elementary principal. My name is Julie Lundell and this is my 17th year in the Davis School District. I have been a teacher, language arts coordinator, and elementary school administrator. I am passionate about learning and helping students be successful.

After growing up in Arizona, work opportunities brought my family to northern Davis County, where we raised our four sons. Along the way, I completed a master’s degree in Instructional Leadership at Utah State University.

This year our school theme is “Growing Greatness 1922-2022”. We are so excited to be celebrating our 100-year anniversary this year!

Academically we will promote “greatness” by helping our students have a solid foundation in reading, writing and math skills so that they can apply them to real world experiences in life. We want to meet student’s individual learning needs to help them grow from wherever they are at.

We will promote “greatness” by teaching social emotional skills, including self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, responsible decision-making, and relationship skills.

We look forward to a great year of academic and personal success for our students as we partner with parents to help our student grow.

Mrs. Lundell
