Dear Parents/Guardians,
Here is a message from our School Nurse, Sarah Cook:
As we move through this time of year, we are seeing an increase in common childhood illnesses, including colds and flu-like symptoms, among our students. This is not unusual for the season, but we appreciate your partnership in helping keep our school community healthy.
We kindly ask that you keep your child home from school if they are experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, or general feelings of illness. Allowing your child time to rest and recover not only supports their well-being but also helps prevent the spread of illness to other students and staff.
Students may return to school once they are feeling better and have been fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication.
Thank you for your continued cooperation and support. By working together, we can help maintain a healthy and safe learning environment for everyone.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the school office.
